Portfolio Advisory

BRC Advisors is much more than a one-trick pony for multi-family advisory services; we strive to cultivate sustaining long term relationships with tenants, as well as, landlords and investment entities. We do this by taking a long-term view of an asset's role in a client's portfolio. We often ask the following questions:

  • What were the original investment objectives at the acquisition stage?
  • How does this particular asset fit into your overall portfolio for diversification or sector diversification of multi-family, office, industrial, retail or net lease assets; based on risk factors, location, or yield requirements?
  • Have the market conditions or circumstances changed?
  • Has the investor's circumstances changed?
  • Is this asset performing as forecasted?
  • What are the updated market data points that can assist good investment decisions?
  • Do we need to re-position it, dispose of the asset or make mid-course corrections that meet the changing market conditions?

We often need to take a "fresh eyes approach" to reconsider the previous assumptions and redirect our human and financial capital on behalf of a client's changing requirements. While we acknowledge the proverbial "big picture," we also understand that, in reality, that "big picture" is made up of a series of smaller pictures. We can build asset value for our clients "one-new-lease-at-a-time" in a multi-tenant setting or "one-good-decision at-a-time."
